Panini pops

It looks delicious! Basically these lollipops are grilled cheese sandwiches on a stick, choosing the cheese (better firm not soft) and bread that you like most.

Panini pops

  • Sliced country-style bread (dense is best)
  • Cheese (as Cheddar)
  • Other minced add-ins such as olives, peppers, aromatic herbs...
  • Lollipop sticks
  • Cookie cutters

Set your grill to 375ºF and assemble your panini sandwiches with cheese and desired filling.

Put them on the grill for 4 minutes until golden and quickly create the shapes with cookie cutters (watch not to burn if they are made of metal) and insert the stick.

Depending on the sort of cheese you use, you'll have to wait 1 or 2 minutes until the cheese sets  and the stick and become firm. And they're ready to surprise!
