Decorate your marine party with these simple jellyfishes (DIY)

Decorate your marine party with these simple jellyfishes (DIY)

Making jellyfish has never been so fun since they are made from cheap materials. Ideal to decorate a marine festival.
The parties of our children are truly fantastic with the perfect decoration and that is why I leave you with this idea: marine jellyfish. It is ideal for parties with a marine theme; They are simple and inexpensive to do.

You can complement your marine decoration with balloons of led lights, so that they resemble corals.

Materials and tools
To make these beautiful DIY jellyfish, you need:

• Disposable plates of purple color, preferably of plastic.
• Blue plastic tablecloth, for the tentacles.
• Monofilament thread.
• Paper from the scrapbook.
• Glue.
• Scissors.

Jellyfish elaboration
Start by forming the body; Take paper from the glossy scrapbook, and cut many 1-inch diameter circles.
Now, take the disposable plates, and stick these circles on the outside of the plates.
Take the plastic tablecloth, keep it folded, and cut 3-inch strips. If you prefer, unfold the cloth once to start the cuts.
Begin to pinch and pull the strips from the center, achieving the wave effect that the tentacles have. Be careful not to throw too much, as they could break.
Prepare 4 tentacles for each jellyfish, taking two strips and folding them near the middle, trying not to get to the exact center. Staple the strips.
Pierce the center of the disposable plate with a pin.
With a little monofilament thread, tie a knot in the tentacles, and thread the thread through the plastic plate. Leave enough thread to hang up.
Hang the jellyfish in various parts of the room, so everyone will have the feeling of being under the sea.
